HODOR wins at 2020 Superyacht Awards
A SUPPORTING PLAYER STEPS INTO THE SPOTLIGHT
The 66m Support Yacht HODOR has vanquished her rivals at the 2020 Superyacht Awards in the Support Vessel category. In a field of stiff competition, this elegant and modern support ship, an admirable feat of design and taste in its own right, justly earned the praise of the judges and emerged the victor.
HODOR was built to support the Feadship 87 m M/Y LONIAN (which we also helped fit), and was one of the year's most anticipated launches.

"The challenge was to create a similar interior for HODOR that would reflect the design of LONIAN," says Curt Biller, who designed and drew all the interiors on the project. "Once the design was made, I traveled between Amsterdam for LONIAN and Burela, Spain for HODOR to make sure it was maintained as drawn for both projects."
Particularly noting her ample capacity for tenders and toys, her speed, and her design layout which allows arriving guests to transition smoothly and comfortably from helicopter to waiting room to tender, the judges lauded the "well-conceived" HODOR as a "worthy winner."
The toy box ready for duty
As any support vessel must be, she is a marvel of efficiency of design, carrying five tenders, and a whole host of toys, including nine jet skis, four quad bikes, two all-terrain vehicles, two trail motorcycles, two Laser dinghies, a Hobie cat and a submarine.
Guests can relax in beautiful, calming surroundings before embarking on their next adventure
What is perhaps more surprising is her sumptuous guest waiting areas, lined with handsome Moroccan-inspired wall treatments ("An interesting 3D design wall paneling that was a bit of a challenge to create!" comments Biller) and stylish custom furnishings and casework pieces, ensuring that HODOR offers a level of luxury to her guests that excellently compliments the opulent refinement of LONIAN, making her the perfect shadow vessel.
